The good news is the airplane is out of annual. Everyone did a great job helping us out. The part came in yesterday at 11:00AM and Columbia had the mags rebuilt by 12 Noon, Arnie and I landed at N13 by 1PM. We were back to N47 by 2 PM and Tom Witmer and his guys had it installed and the airplane back in Adelle's hanger by close of business yesterday. We were trying to get the timing flight done this weekend but Mother Nature is not cooperating.
Alison and I planned to fly today for some more team practice and to test fly the airplane after the annual. We tentatively picked WWD but when Linda Evans called needing a ride back from WWD - it made the destination an easy decision. We were also able to hook up with Barbara Strachan and Russell for lunch while we were there.
The timing flight is tentatively scheduled for EARLY Tuesday morning and we will be on our way EARLY Friday morning.
